Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Crescent Engineering. As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems in a variety of projects. You will work closely with other engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

• Perform calculations, prepare drawings, and create specifications for mechanical systems

• Manage and oversee the work of junior engineers and designers

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure that project requirements are met

• Review and approve mechanical system designs and specifications

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that mechanical systems are installed and functioning properly

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering design

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license preferred

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software programs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
